My contest entry! Now, who was expecting this to be from the Machine point of view? No one? Thought so. The reason I did it in this style is because the mind of a mindless war machine is relatively different from a normal organic mind.
It won't note details in the environment or its enemies unless tactically important. It won't really say anything and is horribly single minded in its goal to achieve an objective.
So I tried to right it from that angle. Whether I was successful or not, I'm not sure.
Oh, and for those of you wondering, species #00345 are Irkens.
